Overview

The Account Executive is responsible for identifying opportunities and closing additional revenue from assigned clients, including upselling and cross-selling of related products. The Account Executive is also accountable for client renewal and retention results.

 

Starting base pay for this role is between $100,000 and $131,250. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

 

Responsibilities

  • From inception through the life of the contract, maintains and grows strategic client relationships on assigned accounts.
  • Actively identifies and pursues potential expanded sales.
  • Drives growth of all products and services for clients in their portfolio.
  • Consistently advises client on opportunities to further leverage Origami, including new features and functionality introduced with Origami product releases.
  • Drives new business through referrals from existing clients.
  • Works closely with service colleagues on assigned accounts to develop relationships, communication plans, growth strategies, and ensure client success and satisfaction.
  • Completes contract renewals and applicable true ups on or before expiration dates with current target increase.
  • Ensures client product and services feedback is prioritized and rapidly resolved.
  • Works with Services colleagues to implement any necessary Client Satisfaction Improvement Plans.
  • Presents and negotiates pricing & SOW for change orders / expanded scope to client.
  • Manages SOW execution (signature) and procurement processes.
  • Engages appropriate colleagues for sales, service, advisory, innovation and co-marketing requirements.
  • Manages invoices.
  • Manages the ongoing support budget where applicable, including hours erosion and the true-up processes services.
  • Maintains all client-specific data in Salesforce, including but not limited to contacts, opportunities, true-ups, satisfaction improvement plans, renewals, and other ad-hoc information as defined by management.
  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced Origami colleagues.
  • Assists with the training and onboarding of new Origami colleagues.

 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in a client-facing professional services role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or business-related field
  • Experience in insurance and IT or the Insurtech industries highly preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred
