Overview

As the Second Line Technical Sales Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-sales process of driving revenue growth, ARR maximization, customer satisfaction, and the product feedback loop. You will lead a team of skilled Sales Solution Architects (SSA), Technical Sales Consultants (TSC) and Sales Engineers (SE), providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, coaching, and skill development.

 

Starting base pay for this role is between $185,000 and $205,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states). 

Responsibilities

  • Translates complex technical solutions into compelling business value propositions
  • Creates world class and consistent demos to complement the customer narrative tied to ROI
  • Works closely with Professional Services to optimize implementation scoping process to maximize recurring revenue and reduce sales cycles
  • Plays a key role in Sales Enablement to ensure Sales and Account Management teams compete effectively
  • Works closely with the VP of Sales on the design of our Business Partner Ecosystem Channel Strategy
  • Builds and scales the Risk Technical Pre-Sales Organization to industry ratios to increase seller capacity

Solution Expertise:

  • Develops a deep understanding of our products and services, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Stays up to date with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and competitors
  • Uses their technical expertise to support the sales team and address complex customer inquiries
  • Develops compelling value propositions and business cases to justify investments.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Collaborates closely with Sales, AM, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering teams to align on strategic goals
  • Provides strategic input on product development and enhancements based on market feedback and customer needs.
  • Identifies opportunities for cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Business-related field.
  • 5+ Years of Pre-Sales or Technical Sales Management Experience
  • 7+ Years of Pre-sales Experience
  • 2+ Years of Leading Leaders preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with RMIS, EHS, GRC use cases and buyer needs preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude related to configuration and demonstration of enterprise SaaS solutions
  • Up to 25% travel required
