Overview

The Vice President of Product Marketing is responsible for people leadership, product positioning and messaging, and developing and executing customer-focused, go-to-market strategies across Origami Risk’s entire platform and solutions portfolio.

 

This role demands a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution—transforming our product roadmap into compelling, customer-centric value propositions that drive adoption, retention, and revenue growth.

 

This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and involves close collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understands and defines customer pain points, ICPs, jobs to be done, and solutions.
  • Leads product positioning and messaging and GTM launch strategy, including process, execution, and results measurement.
  • Crafts the inspiring platform and solutions narrative through creative storytelling, customer proof points, and competitive differentiation.
  • Manages annual strategic planning, including team vision, goals, OKRs, org design, and budget.
  • Partners closely with Executive Leadership, Sales, Enablement, Product, Revenue Operations, and Marketing.
  • Supports sellers on the evolving platform and solutions portfolio with high-impact assets, including sales decks, messaging training, launch demos, FAQ, battlecards and more.
  • Shares customer and market feedback with Product to inform ongoing innovation and roadmap.
  • Develops the communication strategy and assets to support the articulation of Origami partnership, integrations and connector, demonstrating the flexible and scalable nature of the Origami platform
  • Translates the product vision into a customer-facing value proposition for targeting buyer personas.
  • Helps external analysts see Origami as a leader across the different markets we serve.
  • Builds a customer intelligence function that distributes actionable insights to inform innovation at scale across the company.
  • Collaborates with the brand and content team to bring the product marketing vision to life visually through compelling product videos, presentations/experiences, and storytelling.
  • Builds, manages, and develops a world-class high-performing PMM team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications required, MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of previous marketing management experience
  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing positioning to both decision makers and technical audiences
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and strategies through storytelling
  • People focused leader adept at fostering innovative and collaborative teams - Skilled in talent development and aligning team performance with strategic business goals
  • Must thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Experience collaborating with C-level executives, including the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Chief Product and Technology Officer and Business Presidents
