The Paralegal plays a key role in supporting Origami’s Sales and Service organizations in the contracting process with clients and prospective clients.
Starting base pay for this role is between $76,760 and $116,640. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).
Reviews order forms, statements of work, and confidentiality agreements.
Helps manage the contracting process, including review, approval and execution.
Works closely with Operations and Finance teams to minimize inconsistencies and issues within sales contracts.
Reviews requests for proposal, requests for information, or other similar tendering documents and coordinates with internal stakeholders in submitting proposals.
Collaborates regularly with Legal team, other teams, and stakeholders to problem-solve and promote efficiencies in work processes.
Maintains corporate records and ensures timely and accurate corporate filings are made.
Drafts and manages Freedom of Information Act requests.
Assists with legal department operations initiatives, including systems implementation and process improvements.
Assists with the vendor management process.
Assists other Origami departments with legal-related questions and tasks.
Handles Legal department administrative tasks (such as routing legal documents or information to relevant internal and external stakeholders and tracking and monitoring the status of contracts).
Perform other activities as needed (such as tasks related to agreement templates, insurance policies, office leases and HR documentation).
