Software Engineering Intern

As an engineering intern, you will work on existing products and contribute to the design of new product features. You will build intuitive and highly scalable web applications using the Microsoft stack.

Origami Risk is currently recruiting candidates interested in a 12-week, paid, in-person internship based in our Chicago Office during Summer 2026. The internship will run from May 18^th, 2026, through August 7^th, 2026. The salary for this internship is $12,600, paid biweekly throughout the summer. 

• Build entire features across all layers (database, services, and Web UI)
• Build responsive web applications that work across different screen sizes
• Support and manage client product implementations
• Technology experience must include ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, C#, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline is required
• Experience with C++, C# or Java is required
• Strong communication skills, intelligence, and drive; must be able to work in a self-driven manner within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
