Overview

The Director of Brand, Events, & Experiences leads Origami’s brand strategy, content programs, digital presence, and experiential initiatives. This role is responsible for building a consistent, differentiated brand that drives measurable business impact. Working within a performance- and growth-oriented marketing organization, this leader uses data, operational rigor, and financial discipline to guide decision-making and ensure all brand and experience investments deliver clear value.

Responsibilities

Brand & Messaging

  • Leads Origami’s brand strategy, positioning, and identity across all channels.
  • Ensures consistent application of brand standards and messaging across Marketing, Product, Sales, and customer-facing teams.
  • Uses research, market data, and performance insights to refine brand direction.

Content Strategy & Production

  • Develops a content strategy aligned to awareness, demand, and customer engagement goals.
  • Collaborates with product marketing and marketing operations to assure that content is aligned with client journey and that content has a clear business objective and is measurable.
  • Oversees content planning and production across web, campaigns, video, and events.
  • Implements measurement frameworks to evaluate content performance and optimize investment.

Website & Digital Experience

  • Owns the strategy, performance, and optimization of OrigamiRisk.com.
  • Drives improvements in UX, SEO, engagement, and conversion through experimentation and analytics.
  • Ensures the website effectively communicates Origami’s value and supports pipeline growth.

Events & Experiences

  • Leads strategy and execution for Origami’s client conference, field events, and tradeshows.
  • Manages event programming, creative, logistics, and budget to deliver high-impact, cost-effective experiences.
  • Collaborates with Origami leadership and stakeholders to determine strategic goals and key performance indicators, as well as ensure appropriate engagement of Origami cross functional staff to support events.
  • Defines event goals, success metrics, and reporting frameworks to measure ROI and business impact.
  • Evaluates event performance and applies learnings to improve future programs.

Leadership & Operations

  • Manages and develops a team spanning brand, creative, content, web, and events.
  • Builds scalable processes that improve efficiency, quality, and cross-team alignment.
  • Oversees budgets and vendor relationships with strong financial stewardship.
  • Responsible for team member performance management activities, including providing ongoing coaching and mentorship, completing review and compensation processes, etc. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing leadership across brand, digital, content, and experiential marketing.
  • Proven ability to connect brand and experience programs to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience optimizing digital experiences using analytics, testing, and performance tools.
  • Track record managing large-scale events with operational excellence and budget discipline.
  • Strong budget management, contract negotiation, and vendor management experience.
  • Strong team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic direction with hands-on execution.
