Overview

This is a high-impact leadership role at the center of Origami’s growth strategy. 

As Director of Account Management, you will lead a team of top-performing Account Managers responsible for deepening customer relationships, driving retention, and accelerating expansion across our platform. 

You will operate as a strategic partner to executive leadership, shaping how we engage our customers, unlock value, and scale long-term growth. 

This role is equal parts leader, operator, and strategist - owning a meaningful book of business, building a world-class team, and elevating how we deliver outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Lead and scale a high-performance team of strategic, sales-oriented Account Managers 
  • Drive retention and expansion outcomes, including cross-sell and upsell 
  • Strengthen executive-level customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Professional Services, Product, and Marketing 
  • Own operational rigor including forecasting, team structure, and performance metrics 
  • Ensure strong customer outcomes including adoption, satisfaction, and measurable value 
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent 
  • Leverage the installed base to drive referrals and new business opportunities 

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer growth roles 
  • 5+ years leading and scaling high-performing teams 
  • Proven track record of delivering retention and expansion growth 
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills 
  • Experience in complex deal strategy and negotiation 
  • Operational rigor and forecasting discipline 
  • Builder mindset with ability to scale teams and drive change 
  • Insurance or risk management experience preferred
